When it came time to choose a title for Norman's first ever photography book, a book of collected memories from 15 years of his life, the Laurie Anderson lyric ‘the sun’s coming up … like a big bald head’ was his obvious choice. But what photo for the cover? What photo could convey the same sense of surreal wonder that captivated a young Norman at his first Laurie Anderson concert singing Sharkey's Day?
